What Is A Health Coach?

_DSC2776As a Health Coach, I want to help you find a “diet” that is sustainable enough to become a way of life. You will no longer be stuck in the endless cycle of traditional dieting, and will finally be able to live a healthy life with balance.

I know that YOU are uniquely YOU, and no diet is ‘one-size-fits-all’. Working with me, you will receive custom recommendations that fit your specific needs, lifestyle, and goals. Moreover, I will be your cheerleader, providing you with the necessary accountability and encouragement to truly reach your health potential.

  • Who Am I To Tell you about HEALTH?

    For most of my life, I lived in fear. Fear of not being skinny enough, fear of not being liked enough, fear of saying/doing the wrong thing, fear of missing out (aka FOMO); you name it, I was afraid of it. I let my fear control how I felt about myself, which only resulted in more insecurities and greater volatility in my health both physical and mental. I would be caught in the kitchen after eating an entire box of granola wondering if I would ever get out of the endless cycle of dieting and then losing control after one bite of something ‘forbidden’. Not only was I causing serous metabolic damage, but I struggled every day with negative, self-destructive thoughts.

    Now, this sounds like a very depressing story. Luckily, after many months, I discovered new ways of eliminating fear and learning to love myself. All of a sudden, my desire to eat a whole box of granola in one sitting was gone. I learned balance, self-care, and self-love, and the weight just came off naturally (without any crazy diet). Knowing my struggle and hearing the struggles of those around me, I sought to teach others how to manifest the same strength and health in their own lives in order to overcome fears and find health solutions. As a certified Holistic Health Coach, I work with people who struggle to find balance amid the fears and insecurities in their own lives. My clients work not only to create sustainable health changes, but to find happiness in the journey today!

    One of my favorite quotes is from Nelson Mandela, a man who knew real fear, but overcome and said: “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
